Registrar at the National Board of Forensic Medicine in Linköping

Do you want to help strengthen legal security? At the National Board of Forensic Medicine, experts in forensic medicine, forensic chemistry, forensic genetics, and forensic psychiatry collaborate to provide the justice system with the answers it needs. We are now looking for a registrar for the support unit in Linköping. As a registrar, you will belong to the support unit responsible for providing support to the organization in areas such as finance, procurement, registration, archives, switchboard, and reception. The work involves close contact with many internal functions in our core operations and other support functions within the authority.

Your assignment

As a registrar, your main tasks will include:

  • Diary management and case handling
  • Responsibility for incoming mail and emails via functional mailboxes
  • Handle requests for public documents and make confidentiality assessments
  • Ensure that documentation is handled correctly and classified according to established procedures
  • Archiving and disposal according to applicable legislation and internal guidelines
  • Ongoing administrative tasks

You are also expected to contribute to quality assurance and development of our information management processes in collaboration with other roles in the unit. You will drive the department's work to implement a new case management system and more digitized work processes. Within the unit, we have close collaboration and help each other where needed. You will also have a backup function for the reception and the authority's telephone switchboard.

Qualifications

  • Registrar education or equivalent that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Several years of experience working as a registrar or similar
  • Experience working in document and case management systems
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Good knowledge of archive, public access, and confidentiality legislation
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience in driving development processes

Employment

The employment is a permanent full-time position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. Placement in Linköping. The National Board of Forensic Medicine applies individual salary setting.

The Department of Forensic Genetics and Forensic Chemistry (RG/RK) analyzes samples to identify deceased individuals, establish paternity, and trace and determine concentrations of alcohol, narcotics, pharmaceuticals, and doping agents. The department is located in Linköping and consists of four units: the forensic genetics laboratory unit, the forensic chemistry laboratory unit, the investigation unit, and the support unit.
